Title: Grated Beets Russian Style

2tbMargarine
4cCoarsely shredded beets
2tbLemon juice
1 1/2tsSalt
1/8tsBlack pepper
1/2cWater
1tbFlour (all-purpose)

Heat the butter in an 8-inch skillet. Add the beets, lemon juice, salt, pepper and water. Cover and cook over moderately low heat for 15 minutes, stirring from time to time. Sprinkle the flour over the beets, but do not stir in. Cover and cook another 5 minutes.
